You could spend weeks exploring this lovely city, but the Terra Cotta Army alone will give you the perfect taste of what Xian has to offer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>*The Terra Cotta Army<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Discovered by a farmer digging in the field to create a well, this \u201carmy\u201d is a collection of an estimated 8,000 unique sculptures of soldiers, created to protect Qin Shi Huangdi, the First Emperor of China.
