A very unflattering photo of Stevo in Piccadilly Circus.
A very unflattering photo of Stevo in Piccadilly Circus.

It only took 23 hours to get back to my beloved Middle Kingdom. The immigration official was very understanding of my two passports, the canceled passport containing my Chinese Resident Permit. We even shared a laugh about the woman in the next line answering her toddler’s questions.

Child: What’s that?

Mother: A device to rate the official’s performance.

Child: What does that button do?

Mother: You press it if the official is “good”.

Child: What’s that one?

Mother: It’s for “very good”.

Child: Which one will you press?

The conversation was amusing. The hangover I suffered from later, after many two-for-one happy hour beers, was not as amusing. Jet lag + hangoveredness = very bad.

For Ron and Robin: The music.

Good job on the Piccadilly Circus photo! I’m envious, you know. I’m kind of fond of London.

Wishing you a quick recovery from the very bad jet lag + hangover combo. Been there, done that. It’s not pretty.

And thanks for the nod and the music. 🙂

Ok it is all making sense now! First I wondered what happened to the contest, then I wondered why you were in England, then I wondered why you looked so grumpy in this picture… I read back finally and it all makes sense now. I know, I know I need to keep up. Glad to hear though that you made it back safe and sound.

  3. You’re home? Finally? Does that mean I can go to bed now?

Judging by the look on your face you either met Jack the Ripper or were inaugurating the WC tour… 😉

Thanks for the nod Stevo, feel good and get to processing those RAW files…

  8. Welcome back, I am writing down “hangoveredness”. I know I can use it in the future. That seems like a long time to get from the UK, as long as getting here from west coast of the states.

    Okay, get to work!
